Following a presentation to the youth bank by some of our swimmers, they have managed to obtain funding for the purchase of new equipment for the club to the tune of approx £1500.
Well done to Sammie for the powerpoint presentation and to the younger members, Luke, Caitlyn, Brenden, Sam and Joe for supporting Sammie at the presentation without all the younger swimmers speaking out for the club, funding would not have been obtained.
Your efforts mean new equipment can now be purchased for the club to use. |

After a good first day at the hull open meet where swimmers owen smith, emilie White, finliegh dukes and kathy clay swam well achieving pb's throughout the day. Swimmers returned to hull to get even more pb's. At then end of the first session emilie White finished 5th in 50m brs. Owen 5th in 50m bck. Finleigh dukes 4th in 200m fly.

Tigers swimmers went out for another competition on Sunday. This time they went to Hull to a competition put on by York City Baths Club with events in all strokes at 50m a longer 200m free style race and a 100m Individual Medley race ( where the swimmers swims one length of each stroke).
The hard work and effort the swimmers have been putting in in training showed with their results today. Some large persomal best times(PB) (the fastest they have swum in that event) and a number of medals.

A hot sunny day and the tigers went out to play at Adwick. A couple of tigers were ill which left a small team in the morning all boys with 10 swims between them. The 10 swims produced 8 personal best times, and 1x3rd, 3x4th, 5x5th 1x7th and 1x8th. Some smooth swims swum to the insructions of the head coach. Well done to Owen Smith, Jack Green and David Harvey.
