Thorne Tigers Swimming club is located to the North East of Doncaster in the market town of Thorne. The club follows the principles of good teaching and coaching, adhereing to LTAD (Long Term Athlete Developement).
The club is hoping to put several more parents through Level one and Level two teaching courses in 2010. |

The coaching team and all committee members are volunteers who give up their time freely to promote swimming from parent and child through to county level and beyond.
Swimming teaching and coaching are skills which are not just learn't out of books but have to be obtained though practice and experience. Both practice and experience can be obtained through following the ASA courses and seminars and and CPD (Continued Professional Developement ) courses. |
